This track, from the beginning of the decade, still belongs to the nineties, when electronic dance numbers sounded like a spacecraft from another planet, abducting you and taking you on a tour in its own world, and then returning you to Earth different than you were. This is the only track from this millennium that does the same for me. All the other dance records I've heard feel like roaming in regions I've already been to.
It is a natural process. Every new style creates a new space in which it can rapidly grow in many directions, but then it reaches its limits, and has to retreat into itself for a while to find new experiences that would allow it to branch in other directions. Dance is currently in the second stage, and therefore doesn't have much representation in my parade. There is no doubt in my mind that it will produce many rockets like this one in the future, but in the meantime, if we want to experience space voyage, we must go back to 2001.
